Puerto Cancun Mayan Wind Fest 2024, from Jan 18-21, features top global watersports athletes in Kitesurfing, Wingfoil, and Windsurfing.

Puerto Cancun is excitedly kicking off the first-ever Mayan Wind Fest 2024 today, a spectacular watersports festival running until January 21. This event features exhilarating Kitesurfing, Wingfoil, and Windsurfing contests, offering a dynamic showcase of high-energy aquatic skills.

The festival is drawing elite international competitors from various countries, including the USA, France, Czech Republic, and Denmark, who will compete against Mexico’s local prodigies in Cancun’s crystal-clear waters. The Mayan Wind Fest 2024 is a critical qualifier for the prestigious 2024 Optimist World Championship and also serves as a pathway to the North and South American Optimist Championships.
